The study aims to analyze the influence of financial attitude and locus of control on financial well-being, with financial behavior serving as a mediating variable, among PT. THIP employees. A quantitative approach was employed, utilizing a population of 422 employees and a sample of 81 respondents. The sample size was determined using the Slovin formula with a 10% margin of error, while purposive sampling was used to select permanent employees who had worked for at least two years, earned IDR 5,000,000–IDR 20,000,000 per month, and had family dependents. Data were collected via questionnaires and analyzed using the Structural Equation Modeling-Partial Least Squares (SEM-PLS) method with the aid of SmartPLS 3.0 software. The results indicate that financial attitude and locus of control have a positive and significant influence on both financial well-being and financial behavior. Furthermore, financial behavior was found to have a positive and significant impact on financial well-being. Mediation analysis revealed that financial behavior partially mediates the relationship of financial attitude and locus of control with financial well-being. These findings suggest that improved financial attitudes and a stronger sense of individual control over financial circumstances lead to better financial behavior, thereby enhancing the financial well-being of PT. THIP employees.
